Sorbetti

WHAT I LEARNED

“I want a pole-based system” said the owner of B+N one afternoon. The following day I collected our Pucks, a length of aluminum extrusion sitting around the warehouse, taped it all to an old Eames Eiffel Tower chair base, and bent some colored pantone film on the edges. The seed of an idea from what I could find laying around can grow into a robust and popular system.

At this Annie Leibovitz traveling exhibit “Rewarding Lives”, sponsored by American Express, Sorbetti was used do display archival prints in giant stretch fabric cocoons.
The exhibit commemorates the anniversary of the attacks on 9/11, and a wall of cards from those who were lost adds a poignant homage.
